The dog has been refusing his pain pill again. The latest batch of Laughing Cow from the more expensive supermarket is all runny—fairly disgusting to try to wrap around the pill with one's fingers—and he detects the icky taste of the pill and spits out the whole thing. But fortunately this morning the housemate managed to get him to take his pill wrapped in bologna.

Had the same problem with Ethel in her last yrs. We found processed cheese slices worked the best being moldable, not crumbly or semi-fluid. 'Course, she figured it out and would "gum" the balls until she got as much cheese off that she could before spitting out the pill;>
Durn smart critters;>!

Velveeta was the best but kinda pricey, though all she'd allow herself to be tricked with the last few months of her life. At least dogs'll allow it....cats ALWAYS resist, even when covered in their fav treat.Cheers,
Pat
