The housemate left the front door open when she left for work, and I later found a female robin beating on the inside of the screen door. Luckily she then turned around and rapidly flew back the length of the house and out the kitchen and screen room doors. The dog was kind of bemused by the shrieking and helped me find the gift on the carpet.
