The dog is definitely deafer than me. As I was blóting in the yard this morning, the mostly white cat scramble-jumped onto the fence at the junction of the 4 yards to my left, saw the dog snuffling in the grass to my right, and jumped down into the neighbors' yard. The dog was oblivious.
