I am told our competitor on Steven's Creek Blvd. has thrown in the towel. The place two doors down is hanging on under new management - the manager bought it from the owner, who once had a chain of I think 3 stores, and renamed it - but they were a double store and one half is now vacant and to let, like an awful lot of things on our stretch of El Camino. And they have been open only 8 am - midnight for years now, although I still get asked every couple of weeks why they aren't open.
