The housemate's dog apparently strained a back leg, so now he gets a doggie pain killer pill every meal; plus a tummy pill to buffer it. Both embedded in soft cheese, because he's got quite good at covertly spitting pills under the kitchen appliances. As a result I suspect it was him who threw up in the living room last night, but it's hard to be sure.

I know the "Joy". Boo Boo's getting that age where he needs doggie aspirin to let him sleep(as well as us;>)through the night. I've found our local grocery's brand of Havarti is perfect. It's like Play-Dough and strong enough he can't tast the pills through it;>...

I have too or Gouda, though some batches "split" too much when you add the pills. Havarti's almost as plastic as Velveeta, which is the perfect pill-hider but too expensive for something only for the dog(unless I happen to have Celery in the fridge;>).
Hope Matt's email was correct. Old database...

Most adults do;>! It's why I stopped Gaming(or be involved with SCA) back in the 80's. Actually, it was less me and more those that either didn't work or had gone into less formal workplaces who would blow off, show up late etc and then get ticked off at me when I left when we were supposed to be done so I could be at least not exhausted at Work. They honestly couldn't "get" why I put Work over killing Orks or making the properly period garb.....

Not surprised. I'm constantly being "reviled" because I'm not "Connected" 24/7-365. Don't have a cell and don't want one. Have an old hand-me-down I-Phone that I charge for trips so I can call 9-11. I don't even have an answering machine. I'm apparently a rare beast, someone who can "deal" with Silence from his fellow Humans more than a few seconds;>
Even my computer is only on for a few hrs a day and generally on maybe 15 minutes tops.....unless there's something on Hulu;>!

Pat

What I'm afraid of is that Matt let the thing set idle for so long that folks have either discommed or lost Interest. What I would do is after talking to Matt about it is to post to the group(in word or poll)"Will you actively participate in a Havamal discussion list?". Personally? less than 10 responses of those who would, not just lurk, IMO means the ship has sailed on Havamal on Yahell....
Cheers,
Pat
