It's now too early to turn the outside light off at work at 6 am. And the apples on the old apple tree are starting to turn red.

There's also the return of the marine layer in the morning. I can't quite tell how much is the shortening light and how much is the cloudy cover. I pulled out the candle for the morning light in our bedroom again.

Yes, it's been back for a while now, since the heat wave ended. There were a few days when that was the light issue in the last hour of my work day, but now it's simply that the sun is still too low. There have also been some cool nights, like last night.
