I've now encountered the same chicken footling about in various yards multiple times. This is the sandy-colored one from around the corner. Maybe it's a rooster and that's why he has such a wanderlust, but he appears to be managing to stay out of the road so it's no big problem, although he's prompting various home-owners to put chicken wire around their tomatoes and clematis.
