It was hot yesterday, as forecast, and the National Weather Service has been emboldened to whip up even more hysteria in its warning today. "If you do not have air conditioning, ask a neighbor to check on you to make sure you are still alive!!!" (paraphrase). Not entirely unrelated, when I opened the jar of applejuice beside my desk, it had fermented. It fizzed impressively in the glass. Tastes good.
