One of the strawberry plants has fruited again. The raspberry plant, on the other hand, keeps doing substantially nothing, making me wonder whether there is hidden concrete under the grass where it is planted, since there used to be rabbit or chicken enclosures in that corner. I need to dump vast quantities of compost in the bed where the strawberries are; the tree there has definitely depleted the soil. In the meantime I am hoping milder fall weather will bring on more fruiting.
