After work, I walked to the next bus-stop up. I was admiring the blossoms on the little trees in front of the big strip mall there when I heard a dog barking. Someone has set up a large hemispherical tent, blue swathed in red and brown tarps from what I could see, next to a vacant building on the other side of El Camino. (It may be the former Indian grocery store that became a beauty training school, or it may be a bank). A large black woolly dog was standing by the door, barking. I said "Hi doggie" and it inexplicably ceased.
