The plumber is finally gone, and the city inspector has passed the work. We have a new spring-powered drain stopper in the bathtub. You bomp it closed and then bomp it open again. The tub now empties with a sound like thunder. And when we bathed Bear, the housemate kept stepping on the plug and draining the tub.
