As we rounded the corner onto the last street before dropping "Bear" back at his house, the black lab at the corner house was sitting on the porch like a dog carved of ebony. Until she saw the housemate's dog and barked at him. When we came by again on our way home, she was lurking behind the fence to bark at him again and they had a fun time barking through the fence at each other. She will have got in bad trouble for it though.
