They start out innocuous, even pretty, like this




But there's such a thing as too much of a good thing.






Sometimes they have been planted deliberately.




But they are going to keep on growing. They get rather big






and with two of different sexes they can make awe-inspiring numbers of babies, not to mention utterly overshadow one's house.




. . . Unless of course you have it protected by another tree.

I've never cared for the scent of their leaves personally. I think the young ones are used as greens in some Asian cooking though. Might be a way of cleaning up properties....getting Vegans to graze them clear!
