I've just spotted a third oak seedling growing in one of my spiderplant pots. (Numbers one and two have already been removed.) The pots were on the porch until late fall. Squirrels are apparently running around there when we aren't looking.

Can't tell you how many oak seedlings I've pulled this year, and it wasn't a bad year for them.
