Rain and cold forecast for last night, so in the dead hours I opened the door and looked out. It was pelting into the puddles beyond the Korean restaurant but only spotting in front of the store. Must have been blowing it over the building. Muffled shrieks from a few doors away, and the fairy lights were still lit on El Camino, but little traffic in the wetness.
