Suddenly cooler today, though still sunny. The Chron guy thinks we have a shot at some rain at the end of the week. That would be good. Though the cats might be upset. Monty and Prudence were hanging out in the driveway this morning; I went out early to dump a quantity of recyclables from the housemate's cooking last night (3 tin cans and a stock Tetrapak), and they wandered up.
