Started off last night lying diagonally beside the dog, who was deeply and immovably asleep on the bottom outside quadrant of my bed. Then I woke up at quarter to 6 and had to go to the bathroom, and there was no dog. So I checked the housemate's room and sure enough, she was there—sprawled over half the bed, with the housemate curled up in a tight ball, twitching. Of course I then fell back asleep for 2 hours and got up late. The housemate got up distinctly later.
More rain last night, this morning, and showers in the afternoon; a good strong one came in while we were in the library. The NWS say tomorrow will be generally clear, so we may get a snow squall. However, they've either fixed the record page or plugged in a more plausible AI: it shows 1.35" over the past 48 hours in Los Altos, which is plausible.
