Ninth day of Yule

Looking out at a sodden world, I blóted Iðunn, Eostre, Auschlinde, Mæginde, and Seaxnót with the rest of the little bottle of white zin. (Yes, two of those goddesses are UPI.)

Rain and sun all day. Including at least one shower during the sunshine. We had windblown rain before breakfast time. So I think we got more rain today than Los Altos. Mama Violet nonetheless appeared and cleaned the plate once the housemate had put it out.

The dog woke the poor housemate at 3 am, and then timed her afternoon backyard trip so she got wet.
