The furnace guy never did show up. The nights are getting colder. The new furnace guy determined we need a new furnace. So we are doing the grocery run tomorrow, 5 days early and on Hallowe'en, because there will be a visitation of workmen next week and the housemate has something to do in her game on Friday.

Maybe this will make it rain.
