It barely made it into the 90s. So I put a layer on the compost. Now that I'm cooking my own dinner several times a week, there are more vegetable parings going in. And shopping fortnightly instead of every 3 weeks, we're both eating more fruit (in my case mainly bananas on my cereal, since it isn't yet orange season), so there are peels, stones, cores, and stems from that. Not a "spare the air day", but tomorrow is. The late heatwave seems to have fried the brains of the agency that sends me out the e-mail notifications: this morning I had an announcement that today was a spare the air day, in addition to tomorrow, then two announcements that tomorrow will be one, then finally a forecast similar to the one I got yesterday, with today marked as "moderate" ozone.
