The elderly dog chose the longest walkies in months. We went through one end of the park in the pretty sunshine.
More wasteful replacement; the neighbourhood mailbox has been switched out for one with a narrow slot instead of a swing-down tray. I suppose it would be useful as an anti-theft measure if the box ever filled up. And I suppose the two close-by houses are glad not to have to hear that noise any more when there's no traffic to mask it.
