Losing count of the oranges ... but three more had fallen overnight, one of which had had time to moulder. Then more during the day, one of which also managed to moulder. It's dank out there; the wind started up last night, then the rain arrived in the morning as a fine mist and has been heavy enough at times to plop into the bucket in the back porch room. (Los Altos has amassed 1¼".) I haven't seen any cats, but a full plate of wet food was licked clean by early afternoon, which suggests Mama Violet has reappeared. I was starting to worry about her.
