D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

The red camellias are now in full flower. Funny how the pink ones come out much earlier. I went out late at night to put a letter in the mailbox. As I left, Prudence appeared in the back yard under the motion-activated light. When I returned, she was sitting in the back porch, waiting for me. Last time it was Monty waiting.

We're promised more rain mid-week, but meanwhile it's supposed to be warmer than average. I did some pruning in the driveway and filled up the compost bin. Watched by both cats. (I saw Mama Violet eating her lunch a few times over the past week, but she's never been as eager to watch me do chores as her offspring.)
