We got a nice amount of rain overnight. Monty and Pru braved it to hang out on the porch in the late evening, but I had to retrieve the tinsel string from around the teddy bear's neck and pick up many chunks of it; I think Pru had been playing with it. This morning there was nobody there waiting for breakfast, but a line of wet kitty pawprints crossed the porch from the food bowl end to the steps. At lunchtime, food had been devoured and there was a cluster of pawprints by the last plantpot next to the steps.
At sunset, I blóted Wóden, Frige, Baldr, Nanna, Buri, Bórr, Vili, Vé, Hœnir, Loðurr, Viðarr, and Váli in the back yard with red wine. Streamers of pink were woven through the sky on all sides when I began, and faded to grey. A slight wind blew.
