We finally went back to real time. The dog woke me half an hour before her breakfast time; I took pity on her and fed her, but the newspaper wasn't there yet. Luckily I woke up again 90 minutes later and was able to get it. Pru was asleep in the teddy bear's lap (instead of the cat bed) and didn't stir. I watered in mid-afternoon, since the requirement to water after 6 pm, when it's too dark to see where the water is going, is tied to the misnamed Daylight Savings Time. Then the poor dog got walked after dark in the eerily quiet park. She was a bit nervous of the cars passing in the street with their headlights. Someone was using the deserted little kids' play area as a fenced run to let their dog off leash; in the far distance on the playing field, I could make out a couple of other dog owners.
