Relocated the first two geranium pots from the group in the corner of the backyard. At least 4 to go. The chainlink fence is to be replaced with a privacy fence, so I have to make the area workman-safe by the weekend. Much unravelling of long, snaky geranium branches. At least it will be easier to water them, assuming they adjust to being moved and to their new homes. The tree has spread into that area and all I've been able to do the last couple of years is fire a hose into the thicket. But I'll also have to remove the washing line, which will involve crawling under the branches in the middle of the tree to get at where it's secured to the back fence and then unthreading it through the foliage. And I'm not sure there will be a good place for it after the sunlight-blocking fence goes in.
