I blóted for harvest-tide on a beautiful, still, full-moon afternoon. Then in the evening I saw the next-door neighbors have the window in their back door outlined with flashing orange Hallowe'en lights.
There have been more Caltrain trains running, to accommodate social distancing on-board. Two passed me while I was running an errand. One was wrapped in some sort of ad, seemed to be for a men's watch. When I got back, Mama Violet was lurking under the car, having finished the wet food on the porch; I'd already refilled it after seeing the orange kitten polishing off the previous portion.
