D.O.P.-T.

We had to get up in the grey dawn to take the poor dog in for a 7:15 appointment to have her teeth cleaned. The poor thing was terrified and when we were finally allowed to pick her up after 5:00, was very definite about her wish to escape but still panicky enough that she wouldn't settle down in the car, and once we got home, headed into the yard and flopped, then came back in and flopped again. I hope she feels better in the morning. Luckily a cleaning was all she needed.

Today I noticed the first amaryllis bud had reared its head overnight in our front yard.
