Back to hot. The runner beans fighting for survival in the pot under the laundry-room window are starting to produce flowers. All but one of those I later planted in the side yard have sprouted. And the orange tree is starting to drop in earnest: three this morning, plus 2 that critters had munched on and presumably caused to fall.
