Car expedition to a post office in the fast-developing area near Lawrence Expressway and the station there. On the way, lots of views of tech company buildings with almost empty parking lots, and one circular building off to our left that turned out to be one of three on an Apple satellite campus developed late last decade. When we got off the highway, busy building of residential mid-rises and lots of cars squeezed in on the side of access roads. The post office, in an inward-turning strip mall, had enough of a line that I had time to admire Afghan-embroidered salwar kameez hanging on a rack for sale, size-tags in metric. I also nipped into the nearby FedEx to get more packing tape for box bundling; we've tripled the quantity of our regular deliveries. Sadly, being FedEx, they didn't have the industrial-sized cheapie rolls that UPS Stores tend to carry.
