There was another shower before 7 am, then when I got up for the second time, everything was sunny and sparkling. I tried putting out towels on the line after getting rid of the latest chunks of old door from the grass; a few ends had been kocked off one of the geraniums, I don't know whether by falling cardboard bits or by some critter, but I stuck them in water in hopes of being able to plant them. (The towels required finishing in the dryer.) I also dug some of the dandelions and burry clover out of the front yard. When I walked the dog, a child was standing still in the crook of an ornamental tree on a front lawn. When we came back, the kid was descending under the watchful eye of an older kid. Hope nobody tries that in our birch tree.
