Now picking a ripe orange each morning, some with dirt on them, presumably from the smoke days last summer; one had streaks of black running down it. When I was picking unripe ones, I prioritized those that were split; I haven't seen that before, and hope it wasn't caused by my watering pattern. Fortunately those are all or almost all harvested now.
