Happy birthday to my mother!
It's fiery hot but luckily we are well outside the areas where PG&E has threatened to cut the electricity to reduce the risk of their poorly maintained power lines sparking wildfires. I did have to haul the poor dog in from the back yard so I could batten the hatches, and because she keeps staying out in the sun. I think other animals have been under the tree and spooked her.
