D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

The kittens are getting big. I'm not sure how many there are now; I see them in twos and threes, sometimes just Monty, and they like to come out at night when it's hard to tell the tabbies apart. Running the sprinkler twice a week still causes terrible trauma. Mama Violet was invisible for a few days but has returned; in addition to eating wet food, she comes by during the day to snack on the kibble. This evening Ms Bella crossed the street and headed off somewhere as I was leading the dog out for walkies; she looks to be in fine fettle. Late tonight Monty was so eager for his supper, he accidentally headed towards the door. I politely ignored the faux pas.

D.O.P.-T.

Today was unexpectedly cool and breezy; I've just almost closed the window in my room because I was starting to get chilly in long sleeves, and walkies was a bit brisk. The next-door guy was up on his roof making some sort of power noises, probably cleaning out gutters. So since I'd had the greenwaste bin emptied on Monday, I did some serious barbering of the oleander. I looked up mid-job and saw Ms Bella watching me from a different neighbor's roof.
