This is definitely a timid dog. Next door's white standard poodle will run up to the chainlink fence, stick her head between two of the row of old closet doors the people have propped up against it to try to stop the barkfest, and commence barking. Our dog will run out of the house and bark backāfrom around the corner of the garage. Or even remain in the kitchen while barking back. She'll only go up to the fence and do it properly if I'm there gathering in my wash.
