D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

They've laid out the foundations of what will replace the house that got demolished round the corner. Looks like either a monster house or a duplex. Makes me sad.

My grape vine is laden with bunches of grapes - naturally, even more so on the other side of the chainlink fence - but all of a sudden the top centre has browned off. So I gave it an extra soaking with the sprinkler yesterday. However, I also notice it has sent out a feeler all along the top of the fence toward the garden gate - and is now poking around the corner into the next yard. Very commendable.
