The camellias are starting to flower, red ones first.

The Xmas stuff in front yards is slowly getting cleared away, but the huge inflatable reindeer with the swivelling head is still there. And in one yard, a small Santa in a sleigh pulled by one reindeer lies deflated, the reindeer with splayed legs, Santa tipped on one side.

I've again been letting Bear run around on the end of the leash, barking, when we encounter other dogs. He looks bouncy and happy, and a large black chow that is new to the neighborhood does the same thing with equal enthusiasm.
