D.O.P.-T. (yesterday)

A hot day. The dogs had a barkfest with the neighbor dogs in which dust rose from the bare ground on the neighbor dogs' side of the fence, then flattened themselves on the floor in separate rooms. Leafblowers and drills seemed to drone on all sides of the house. I had difficulty getting to bed and difficulty sleeping. Then in the evening as I left for work, there was a huge bang from yet another firework and the 2 ladies walking down the other side of the street screamed.
