The sky this morning was like lace, then when we walked the dogs, it was quilted.
And someone appeared to have spot-welded parts of the underside of their vehicle to the pavement, with partial calcification. They formed four geometric patterns in the roadway, with circular plastic remnants at some of the corners. The only runic shape I saw was a misshapen uruz. Otherwise, my only insight is that I hope it was less cataclysmic in origin than it looked.
