A week or two ago, I noticed a plastic spider plant hanging on someone's porch. Very rich in babies, which was what drew my attention. What would be so hard about finding a real one with babies and nabbing one? Then this afternoon I noticed that a potted ficus tree had blown over in front of someone's house . . . because it was a fake and therefore didn't have water in the pot to ballast it. My former housemate also had a silk ficus tree. Are they really that hard to grow? They have them in (roofed) passageways between parking lots at the front and back of office and store buildings. So they can't require much.
