There's a little house with a front yard heavily shaded by trees. There's a palm tree at the fence line - maybe it protrudes a little onto the sidewalk. It hasn't launched yet so the fronds on the sidewalk side keep getting cut back so they don't swipe people in the face and chest. Unfortunately yesterday someone did a complete hatchet job on it - it looks like a pineapple. Poor tree, I think it's a goner.
