I was in downtown San Jose on a blisteringly hot day to return library books. Saw a very tanned street lady. She was pulling a cart with a psychedelic blanket and a teddy bear strapped to the top of it, and hugging three more teddy bears. All the bears were wearing tops: 3 t-shirts and one an anorak.
