PG&E just cut our power without warning for over an hour while one of their guys mucked around in a bucket. And another talked on his phone. After a while as I hammered on the poor laptop on dial-up, I became aware of the birds shrieking in the backyard. Hope nobody had been nesting up there on the pole.
