It continues to be pleasantly cool and breezy; the smoke count has gone down to just above 100. We ran an errand; I noticed traffic on El Camino was above what I'd expected. When we returned, Mama Violet was under the chair, plainly interrupted during consumption of kitten kibble, and neither ran nor hissed. Later I mowed the grass in back and pretty much filled the greenwaste bin. The sun was setting as a big copper disc when I walked the dog; it seemed to spook her a little. Sunset is coming earlier.
