It rained yesterday! Only showers, but enough to water the yard. And my relief was on time so I made it to my dental appointment. They have tucked a new chair station into the corner, where my screams are less audible to the other patients. But the new X-ray machine initially refused to work—software failure. I asked whether they'd bought it from the Wikimedia Foundation and was told no. Just my computer-killing field, then. It eventually worked after the laptop was rebooted and possibly other ministrations; by that point I had my eyes squeezed shut.
