More rain. I see they have a proposed redevelopment sign posted on the Summerwinds Nursery that was built on El Camino in Santa Clara and closed a couple of years later; presumably another clifflike condo development in Mission style. And they've started digging out the concrete where the Sunnyvale store was, near the crazy golf place on the El Camino curve; planned redevelopment of that site into a hotel (Sunnyvale tends to sprout hotels on El Cam, while Santa Clara builds condos on every site on El Cam, townhomes on the side streets), was the reason they opened the Santa Clara store and eventually closed the Sunnyvale one, but Santa Clara never got as much business and meanwhile the hotel was held up by objections). The little rival garden center in Santa Clara closed long ago, and now Orchard Supply is gone too, leaving us with basically nowhere to buy garden stuff.

Rain again. I moved the gay DVD racks apart at the store because I could see rain falling from the vent overhead. It was a mostly quiet night but I sold some stuff. Unfortunately in the latter part of the night they started drilling in the Korean barbecue place next door, I think going through the floor to the drains. Then the new guy was late relieving me because of the traffic. The clerks'/janitors' keychain has gone missing, so reloading toilet paper and paper towels is now a problem.

I made it home, timed dog-walking badly during a heavy shower, toweled off the dog, and timed blessing my "ploughs" a bit better: light rain.
