D.O.P.-T.

Friday started with frost on roofs as well as grass and stayed cold. Gulls were messing about in the parking lot when I left work, but maybe partly because the large McDonald's a long block away has closed (!) and they have to find other dumpsters; the wind didn't come up till last night (sometimes when the door banged, it was a drunk guy, sometimes it was the wind; one of those nights). Rain was just starting when I got off the bus, and became vigorous after I had fed the beasts and the compost monster. We need more rain, and it usually raises the temperature a bit.
