Back to watching the sunrise from the bus stop after work - there have been some lurid dark pink ones.

Everything is putting out new leaves. For example, here's an undisciplined oak or toyon all bristling at the tips with new growth.



I walked home from the dentist's and took some photos. It was a pretty sunny morning. Partly for my mother on Mothering Sunday, ( an assortment under the cut. )

The new daycare center in what used to be the job training center had an open house, and then closed the whole sidewalk, the driveways on both sides, and the parking lot the builders had messed up while ripping out the interior of the building. Much new concrete, new asphalt, new kerbs ... they must have been called on major handicap access problems. I note however that the old practically illegible sign saying "No exit, entrance only" has not been removed, just folded together, while a bright red "Stop, no entrance" sign has been placed just behind it.
