The Xmas decorations are being determinedly put up between rainstorms. The guy who fills his garden with inflatables - Santa, Winnie the Pooh characters in Santa hats and one Eeyore in reindeer horns - has put his out and added a new one this year: a teddy bear perched in the magnolia tree.
