D.O.P.-T. (Thursday)

I suddenly have numerous itchy bug bites, and I discovered why: if I stand on tiptoe, I can see that the neighbors didn't drain their pool completely; there are a few patches of horrid brown water around the edge of the bottom. Grr.

The hot weather ended and the first few blades of the heat-sensitive grass are poking through outside the back door.

The volunteer oak tree in the backyard flowerbed has at least one acorn on it.
